Someone (on a wordpress help thread, found the answer to my question as to wether it is possible to import blog posts automatically :

"You cannot import automatically entries or comments into your LiveJournal from another journal or a journal on another site. This is true even if the other site is running LiveJournal code or if you downloaded them from that site or journal to your computer.

The only way to add an entry from another journal or another site to your LiveJournal is to copy and paste the entry's text into the Post an Entry page. When doing this, you can set the appropriate date and time for the entry by changing the values in the "Date:" fields on the Post an Entry page. Adding an entry in this way will cause it to appear in your journal as though it were originally posted there on the date you specified. If you choose to do this, you may need to enable the "Date Out of Order" option; this will also prevent your friends' Friends pages from being flooded with the new entries.

I simply cannot express how totally and incredibly lame this is."

I agree with the latter, and have, in the meanwhile gotten the info that OF COURSE, with wordpress ON YOUR OWN SERVER, and plug-ins, you can basically do all i wanted to do… and more. I know. Just stop being so SMUG !

rrrrright. the whole idea of having a blog on blogger that feeds into my LJ account was to be able to post easier.. and more often.

I like Windows writer, I am using it for my other two blog projects and it keeps me nicely going.
One particular feature I enjoy is the manipulation of photos and the smooth deposit of those on my HD onto picasa in a closed album. easy!
LJ is horribly fickely about changing sizes via the whole 'Scrapbook' deposit process. I just don't get it!! (maybe that's just me).

then there is also the whole lockdown LJ has about blog design, scripts and other widgets.. i like to play around with my blog.

Now the brilliant idea (scooped off the net, but it seemed to totally make sense..) of posting by email sort of lost all its interest when a picture post comes through…
entirely without pix. Hello LJ ? wtf. yeah I know, I have to attach them, but that's just not possible for an automated email via blogger…

This said, I am also thinking data usage – i have a LIMIT on my bush internet account..! – and I thought I was soo clever.
Alright then THIS entry will be double posted. once into the blogger blog, then into LJ. If writer lets me do that.

AS i am writing this, I am thinking that I should ask others who obviously have shadow or mirror blogs OUTSIDE lj on my friendlist… hmmm.
No, it's always more fun to figuer it out yourself, isn't. damn internet.

NB : I HAVE pixelpost and shozu, on both pc and my phone. both permit default posts or cc posts. I know.
I guess I will have to look into that. I just wasn't totally convinced the interface is doing it for me. i'm complicated like that.

AMERICAN BULLDOG – my dog looks a lot like this but it's a AmBulldog mix with Rottie, so he's brown-gold brindle, so actually.. quite different. I used this to illustrate to my mom what two breeds come together in him. (he's awesome too)

EBONY BONES – this album is quite good actually. I discovered it while re-discovering deezer when spotify was being mean to me.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE – that's truely a childhood favorite of mine (in translation), I bought it beginning of last year for my own son before i even knew it was to come out as a movie. i haven't seen it yet. should I ?
"DON'T PEE & POO" SIGNS AT A MOTORWAY RESTING AREA – i think these beautifully illustrated signs were on a German Autobahn Parking.
(they all DO have toilets. People just often prefer to go into the bushes cuz they toilets are so dirty or cost money..)
HIS MASTER'S VOICE – I think this must be one of my all time favourite company logos, here as a real dog photograph.
as a kid (and before i spoke english) i just liked the idea of a dog listening to music :)

MINISEBRAN is a really awesome, simple and pretty free graphic software for TODDLERS. My son had his first supervised contacts with my pc with it and it was a total hit. then it somehow stopped working on me, sadly. We have since been able to move on to the also free DRAWING FOR CHILDREN, which is a little bit a version of paint with a lot of fun bits and he has become a real pro on it. (and it's totally safe, with a lockdown fullscreen, they can't do anything but that.great)
Oh hey, that's one of my own T-SHIRTS. It's actually part of a pyjama, I bought in the teen section. Cuz it's so cool.
I went to the original MOJO CLUB in Hamburg, and it's still the kind of music that makes me want to dance the night away. (Yeah, I'm a bit retro like that) their website is in German, they have still events going but I can't listen to their radio on laut.fm. (sucks. why, Australia ?)

oh. so to automatically crosspost to LJ from a blogger blog, you have to activate mobile blogging in LJ, then go to blogger and add the email address with integrated pin to your emails that get a post sent automatically when you publish it at blogspot.

and then... it doesn't work. mmmh..

we learn : LJ needs the sender address, in my case it's the gmail i have signed up for the blogger with.
one of the dozen addresses i have with the google machine...

this should work now.

this said, i am secretly still with LJ. ha.

EDIT : after publishing, ...we also learn. post will be published in LJ but not any integrated pic because it would have to be in the ATTACHMENT of the email blogger sends.. HMMMMMM ! ? o_0

ok.. so i have this hoarding problem. it's like messies IRL, only the place that is completely stuffed with useful JUNK is not my house but my hard disk. plus there is some on 2 or 3 external HDs, stuff from my old laptop (RIP), even from my old work pc that i left behind. none of this i will ever EVER need or have use for. the thought of sorting it out, makes me sick – can't just delete it, can I – there could be something REALLY important… somewhere.
sure, it's not as bad as some 'digital hoarders' (see wiki) who have a collection of tens of thousands of (often music) files – and only ever listen to a fraction of it all.
while i download and keep the occasional free program to much (over time, that makes a lot of programs..), my thing is mostly pictures. i don't know what it is that makes me want to KEEP so much of all what i see, on the surf, or what i pull up from google images.. i actually USE some of it sometimes. many i just download as a memory pic, or i will download 15 images and then stop frustrated, because i don't find what i was REALLY looking for..
fact is, this behaviour and my random, wild collection – all over the place, as i keep changing default locations – certainly gives an impression of the mess that is in my brain at most times.

I love ORANGUTANS ever since I saw the boredom of a huge ape in the zoo of Berlin. we locked eyes with each other. I wished the world was a better place for them and/or i could actually do something to help that.
CUTE CHIMP AND TIGER, well, I just really like animals. and animal photography. it doesn't have to be lolcats tho.
